Dr. Mia Fine
LMFT-S, CST-S, CSE Sex, Relationship, & Intimacy Therapist. Licensed in: Washington, Oregon, Utah, and Idaho
I’m a holistic therapist specializing in couples work, sex therapy, and trauma. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, research-informed, and rooted in humility and compassion. I bring curiosity, care, and clarity to the therapy space, while trusting that you are the expert on your life. My role is to support your process with honesty, respect, and a commitment to what truly matters.
Together, we tend to the full landscape of your bio-psycho-social-sexual-spiritual Self. We explore your pleasure, your pain, your patterns, and your power—the places where you feel most stuck and the places where you feel most alive.
As a psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist, I offer the option to incorporate legal psychedelic medicines into the therapeutic process when it aligns with your goals and is clinically appropriate. These expanded states of consciousness, when supported with reverence, somatic awareness, and relational safety, can facilitate profound trauma healing, deepen integration, and unlock embodied insight that may remain inaccessible through traditional talk therapy alone.
I believe that no one is broken. Each of us is a uniquely brilliant, complex, and worthy being who is deserving of love, connection, and care. My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your inner knowing, clarify what matters most, and move toward a life that feels aligned and self-honoring. With both compassion and clarity, we will co-create a space where meaningful transformation can unfold.

My Approach
My clients often reflect that they feel my passion for this work in the room with them. Being a therapist isn’t just what I do—it’s the work I’m most alive in. I bring presence, humor, and deep respect for the complexity of being human. I’m a holistic therapist specializing in couples therapy, sex therapy, and trauma healing, with certification in EMDR and advanced training in somatic and attachment-based modalities as well as psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. My work is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in cultural humility. I support individuals, couples, and relationship systems in exploring the patterns that shape their lives, reconnecting with their desires, and building relationships rooted in integrity, eroticism, and care.
Marathon Therapy for Individuals and Couples
Marathon Therapy, also known as therapy intensives, is a powerful alternative to traditional weekly sessions. This model is ideal for people who want to go deeper, faster. Adapted for trauma and relationship work, intensives offer an immersive therapeutic experience.
In these extended sessions, we explore the cycles, traumas, and relational patterns that shape your life. Together, we look at stuck points, coping strategies, identity, pleasure, and possibility. These sessions are focused, attuned, and often surprisingly enjoyable. Humor, truth, and depth are welcome. You’ll leave each session with a thoughtfully curated list of tools and resources tailored to your unique goals, designed to support lasting integration and continued growth.
If weekly therapy feels like it only scratches the surface, a therapy intensive may be the right fit.
Couples and Relationship Therapy
Even in loving relationships, intimacy can fade. Desire shifts. Communication breaks down. Conflict patterns take hold. Over time, couples may find themselves feeling more like roommates than partners or feeling stuck in cycles that no longer serve them.
Couples therapy (relationship therapy) is a central part of my practice and one of the areas I find most rewarding. I work with couples and multi-partner systems navigating attachment injuries, trauma histories, sexual disconnection, open or non-monogamous dynamics, and major relational transitions.
Our work together focuses on rebuilding intimacy, deepening emotional and erotic connection, and restoring a sense of possibility in the relationship. We explore the foundations of secure attachment, cultivate mutual understanding, and bring curiosity, pleasure, and play back into the space between you. Whether you're reconnecting after distance, navigating rupture, or redefining what your relationship even is, we work toward something real. Not performative closeness or surface-level harmony, but intimacy that feels honest, chosen, and alive. I’m here to support you in building a relationship that reflects your values and holds the complexity of who you both are becoming.
